Well that was a quick second or third honeymoon. This column was supposed to be about Bibi and Obama “mending fences.”

That appeared to be the case. They smiled. They shook hands. Bibi even said it was the best meeting he ever had with this White House.

Then, as Jackie Gleason used to say – “Pow! Right in the kisser!”

This was a double-cross heard around the world, as per this headline, “Obama approves of EU labeling of Jewish products.”

The short of it is that Europe has gone brothel again. Anything (including the cure for cancer?) made in the “settlements” will be labeled as unfit for European consumption. But that’s just my interpretation. Read all about it here, which includes Obama saying, “Sure. Why not? Let’s pile on.”

That’s not a direct quote, but my version of, “You too, Mr. President?”

Israel, the only country in the region that shares our values and fights our fight, and this is the country the White House chooses to humiliate.

Europe, no surprise. But America is supposed to differ and stand against segregation.

So it’s about “Jewish products” and guess what – I am a Jewish product. Yes I am. I am a Jewish product and I feel libeled and labeled.

This isn’t the first time, though all of us thought it would be the last time, going back a generation ago, which seems like yesterday.

Yesterday (around 1942) the Gestapo arrived at my father’s leather shop in Toulouse, France. They ordered the shop closed for being Jewish.

“Occupied territory,” they declared.

So through my father, and mother, and sister, I know about being libeled and labeled.

The family didn’t wait around. Father did not need a mystical handwriting on the wall. It was spelled out right there on the window of his shop.

The label read, “Juif.”

That’s pretty much how it’ll soon be read all across Europe…again…and with my president’s blessing.

Of the Six Million who were trapped in Europe an overlooked detail haunts me. These days when I see images of European Jews waiting on the platforms to be herded onto the trains, I notice something odd. Husbands and wives are carrying suitcases. For what? For Auschwitz?

They do not know, or do not dare guess, that Auschwitz is their destination and their destiny. They were told about being “relocated.” Nothing to worry about.

They believed because they had no choice except to believe. But till the end, they never lost hope.

Likewise today.  We’re told that labeling measures are being taken only against places that are illegally “occupied.”

Sounds awfully familiar to this Jewish product, me, and you, because truly, the libeling and the labeling never stops, once it begins.

We are all Jewish products. To them it’s all occupied territory wherever a Jew stops to catch a breath.

Today we have Israel, a Jewish State, so there should be no need to walk around with a suitcase. Today the hope is real and alive.

Time to tell Europe that we’re onto the tricks and thanks but we’re skipping your next Holocaust. Boycott This!

Is Trump ahead by a point? Or is it Carson?


Or have we gone obsessively compulsively nuts handicapping a race that still has months to go before we reach the finish line.


Or are we so desperate to be rid of Obama that we’re counting the days…when actually we’re looking at more than a YEAR!


That’s plenty of time to do mucho damage because guess what…Obama is still president.


I know this sounds strange because tune to the cable networks and it’s as if tomorrow is another day. No. Tomorrow will be the same.


Iran is in. Israel is out. Our enemies laugh. Our friends weep. Obamacare is in ruins. Our borders are wide open to people we don’t know.
Obama will still be president.


They give you the latest polls on the hour as if nothing else is happening and even the mainstream networks now lead with who’s on top.


Nothing else going on, like people being stabbed for being Jewish and still another “Death to America” gathering over there in Tehran? Guess not.

Because it’s the same thing over and over again and even Fox News, the best there is, is getting monotonous and boring. One hour is the same as another.


Nothing has changed and nothing will change for quite some time.

Iran is in. Israel is out. Our enemies laugh. Our friends weep. Obamacare is in ruins. Our borders are wide open to people we don’t know.


Racial animosity is worse than it’s ever been in modern times. Groups like “Black Lives Matter” feel justified calling for the murder of our law enforcement officers.

Jewish kids on campus are being harassed and beaten by Arab imports who feel empowered and entitled to “express” themselves.

The same (SJP) bullies heckle, jeer and disrupt pro-Israel scholars who have been invited to provide clarity and reason – but given no chance. See this.


Orthodox Jews are being stabbed, cursed and beaten in Crown Heights Brooklyn.


This should be enough to prove that while Republican candidates take the stage and grab the headlines – Obama is still president.


He can still do whatever the hell he wants and if that is not enough, Hillary is waiting to finish us off.


On the airwaves, from one hour to the next we’re talking Republicans, but meanwhile it’s the Democrats who run the White House and our world.


The owner of a huge Atlantic City casino, Revel, is ready to use thousands of empty rooms to house Syrian deserters called migrants.


What does this mean?


This means that Obama is still president.


He’s bringing them in.


Trump says he wants to keep them out and he may well be true to his word but come on, aren’t we getting ahead of ourselves?


I think he’s the real deal. No morning glory.


Either way, I have never seen a horse race get handicapped for the Kentucky Derby even before the horses have been foaled.


The other candidates, all have different slogans, different plans, different dreams, good, wonderful, but Obama is still president.


It’s way too early and this makes no sense, going on about who’s ahead by a point when even the primaries are still miles away before they vote.


Desperate Jeb’s new campaign slogan is that he can fix things but meantime Obama is fixing things, fixing us good. That’s the only sure bet.


The rest of it is guessing or maybe the rest of it is ratings. 


The debates keep providing lively entertainment but neither Obama nor Hillary has been touched.


The Republicans (our only hope) must be careful lest they turn themselves into a travelling circus. We need any one of them to prevail.


As for the news channels – where’s the news?

The latest – you heard? That’s about the 98 Hollywood Jewish leaders who happily support Obama’s Iran Nuke Deal.

That should be enough, so you would think. People have an opinion, this way or that, and when it’s something so political, so scientific, so controversial, usually they debate it around the kitchen table and leave it there because if they’re wrong they stay wrong, but in silence.

If later it is proven that they were dead wrong, no harm done, because they kept it to themselves.

Not so the 98 Jewish Players. They decided to go ahead to tell the world what they think of the Deal.

Let me tell you something. A typical screenplay runs 120 pages. That makes it a typical two-hour movie since each page approximates a minute of film.

But before a movie goes into production, the script undergoes a hundred changes and even that’s not enough. Often a “script doctor” is called in to do more fixing. Sometimes it takes years before anybody is happy enough to give it the green light. But in the end, nobody is happy. It’s not quite right. It can always be better.

Julius and Philip Epstein were rewriting “Casablanca” even as the movie was being shot. Between scenes, Ingrid Bergman kept complaining that she did not know who she was supposed to be in love with, Humphrey Bogart or Paul Henreid. For “Gone With The Wind” F. Scott Fitzgerald was called in to do some tinkering, but was fired because he took liberties with Margaret Mitchell’s sainted novel.

Robert Bolt had to completely redo Michael Wilson’s script for “Lawrence of Arabia” before David Lean was happy enough to start shooting.

We’re still talking about a 120-page screenplay. That’s what they know, these Hollywood 98. That’s their business.

Now let’s talk about an Iran Nuke Deal that runs, we are told, more than 1,000 pages.

Are we to assume that Norman Lear and the rest of them read all that, word for word, and if they did, are we to assume that, in their careful consideration, this work is so perfect that it is ready for production? No rewrite necessary? Are there no plots and sub-plots that, according to the language of the trade, needs more work?

No, after careful study on their yachts and then sharing lunch at Spago, they concluded that they know best.

They know better …better than the nuclear physicists who declare the deal a flop favorable only to the mullahs of Iran.

Or is it that these Jewish Liberals remain so gaga for Obama that they don’t care who lives or dies, so long as Liberalism lives?

That’s got to be it because nothing else makes sense.

Hemingway never liked the movies they made from his novels. He was fond of giving the following advice – “Stick to what you know.”

Otherwise, we might add, you risk making complete fools of yourselves.

“KENYAN AMERICAN" OBAMA HAS NEWS FOR ZIONIST AMERICANS - JULY 28, 2015

At first I wasn’t sure if I heard it right. So I did a Google search and the replay of what Obama said in Nairobi last week came up quickly.
 
This is what he said: “I’m the first Kenyan American to be President of the United States.”
 
Kenyan American? That is something he never said before, and he said it with pride.
 
A comment like that packs a punch, especially as it comes from a man dogged by accusations that he wasn’t born in the United States. He embraced his Kenyan heritage. He showed himself proud of his African roots; let his accusers have their say.
 
In fact, nobody said anything. I did another search and found no one complaining about dual loyalties. Deafening silence.
 

...taking the cue from the President himself, let’s hear no more about divided loyalties.
The New York Times simply noted that he paid homage to the land of his father. Very nice. Yes, I give Obama credit for that if for nothing else.
 
But others, like American Zionists – can we please share some of that credit for ourselves? We too are completely loyal to America.
 
We too have family ties. For us it is Israel, the land of OUR fathers. These ties are historic, ancestral, emotional.
 
These are the same reflexes that motivate our love for America.
 
So taking the cue from the President himself, let’s hear no more about divided loyalties.
 
In terms of American Jews who stand with America together with Israel, enough please from the mischief-makers. Shut up, in other words.
 
I’m sure Obama feels the same about Kenya so far as shared ideals as we do about Israel.
 
I take that back.
 
Perhaps Obama himself would take that back because when he appealed to Kenya for more tolerance for women and gays, his message was met with frowns. When it comes to all that, Mr. Obama would be far more at home in Israel. That’s another reason our hearts go out to the Jewish State. 
 
Am I foolish enough to believe that our scoffers are done with us? They never sleep and they are never done.
 
Bernie Sanders knows the feeling.
 
Sanders is the Independent Democrat running for Place or Show against fading frontrunner Hillary Clinton.
 
A few weeks ago the Jewish Senator from Vermont was a guest on NPR where he swiftly found himself accused of divided loyalties.
 
Interviewer Diane Rehm (an Arab American) presented the following matter-of-fact statement: “Senator, you have dual citizenship with Israel.”
 
Sanders, who in his youth spent some time in a kibbutz, was forced to defend himself. “Well no,” he responded, “I’m an American.”
 
Obama is free and clear from that type of accusation. His admirers, NPR and the rest of them, won’t touch this.
 
Neither should the rest of us patriots be hearing another word against Zionist Americans. Not a single word, from anybody.
 
What’s good for Kenyan Americans ought to be just as good for Zionist Americans.

OBAMA'S IRAN DEAL: WHO'S BUYING THIS WRECK? - JULY 26, 2015

Credit King Solomon once again for his wisdom: “A twisted thing cannot be made straight.”

This takes us directly to John Kerry and his pitch before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee where he tried to explain away his perfectly awful Iran Deal.

The Senators, mainly Republicans Bob Corker, Marco Rubio, Ron Johnson and Democrat Bob Menendez, saw the lemon for what it is. They were not buying Kerry’s central argument that if Iran’s mullahs fail to behave properly, well, we’ll just go back in and teach them a lesson they’ll never forget.

We’ll take it all back. We’ll re-impose sanctions. We’ll have them reimburse all the money and force them to unhook all their missiles.

Why – in a snap we’ll simply undo everything.

You betcha.

Dream on, we said, those of us who watched the proceedings via C-Span. The cable news networks, including Fox, did not carry the hearing, except for a voice-cut here and there, and this was a mistake. They had a chance to provide a crucial public service. Instead, they chose regular programming and the usual commercials.

Then again, for Kerry, this was a commercial, selling this crooked deal – which cannot be made straight.

As Kerry shared his dreams with the Committee, we thought back to another dreamer, Shimon Peres.

We recalled his high hopes when, as Yitzhak Rabin’s foreign minister, he gladly and enthusiastically signed the Oslo Accords, of which he was partly its architect. The Left had its Big Win. Never mind that Israel had fully legitimized a terror group, the PLO, as its equal. Equal footing for a gang of misfits.

Peres dreamed of a “New Middle East,” which is “new” all right, but in all the wrong places.

Overnight, through a handshake, Rabin to Arafat, a new government was created, a government of scoundrels that now has a seat at the UN.

Promises were made. Israel agrees to numerous concessions, principally a judenrein Gaza and partly the 'West Bank'. Plus, more concessions to come.

But, people said – if the PLO misbehaves, all bets are off. We’re taking it all back, in a snap.

Two intifadas later and Hamas terrorists ensconced in Gaza, nothing’s been taken back – a twisted thing cannot be made straight.

The Senators asked Kerry if he expected Iran to become a regional power. Kerry said no. But, they said, Obama said yes. So yes it is!

So yes is the answer for Obama’s “New Middle East,” just as Peres dreamed of a “New Middle East,” which is “new” all right, but in all the wrong places. Practically every country that surrounds Israel is in hellish, murderous turmoil. Not quite the sweet dreams that Peres had in mind. Or Obama. Or Kerry.

This was difficult television. Kerry squirmed throughout his testimony. Would Israel be able to react against Iran when necessary?

So Kerry danced around that and he waltzed around the question as to why the Administration went straight to the UN before going to Congress.

The Senators had him trapped.

But in the end, they will do nothing, which is what they usually do – nothing. Lois Lerner is still on the loose.

Hillary is still not in jail for Benghazi and her email scandal. Our borders are still wide open.

Much huffing and puffing from the Congress, but nothing much happens.

That is why Trump is still up in the polls. We the People, the little people, we agree with him that our politicians are 90-pound weaklings.

Trump will not win the nomination, but he can dream can’t he? So far his dreams have done no harm.

Can’t say the same for the rest of the dreamers who keep sticking us with nightmares.

AMERICA IN A FUNK - JUNE 28, 2015

America in a Funk

The word’s out that we’re a nation of bigots. Racism is in our DNA. So says our African-American President.

I asked Mohammed if he agreed.

“Sure,” he said.

Mohammed was driving the New York cab.

A moment later he shut the bulletproof partition that separates cabbie from passenger – to protect the drivers or the passengers?

The President had said that we have been racists since the beginning of time, and that there is no cure in sight.

I might suggest that a new President would be a wonderful cure.

A few days later, speaking before Muslim leaders, the President said that Americans were bigoted not only against Blacks, but Muslims as well.

Maybe he is right. But statistics say that when it comes to hate crimes, Jews top the list by far – so far as being the victims.

We’re Number One!

Something like 70 percent of all hate crimes goes against Jews. For Muslims it’s barely 11 percent. So where’s the speech for our side?

Jewish lives matter! Hello?

Anyway, our President wants us to feel rotten about ourselves, and here is the problem – we do. Yes we do. We feel terrible. 

I have never seen America so down in the dumps. Everybody’s depressed, about this, that and everything.

Every time Obama scores another win it feels like a loss for the rest of us.

In the movie “The Wild One,” the girl asks biker Brando what he’s protesting against. Brando sneers, 

“Whaddaya got?”

Well, nowadays we got a bit of everything. Race riots are back and here we go hating on the very people who risk their lives to keep us safe –cops.

At the moment we’re back to fighting the Civil War all over again. Nikki Haley, the Governor of South Carolina, was the first to take down the Confederate flag after what happened in Charleston. No one can argue with that move. Others have taken the cue and likewise dumped that symbol. Okay.

But as evidence that we’re getting more and more divided against ourselves, some people are calling for the Stars and Stripes to be dumped.

So what’s next – the National Anthem? There’s talk that “Gone With The Wind” ought to be bleached from our archives.

That’s saying our history, for better or worse, is to be brushed aside and that future generations must be raised through selective memories. 

There must be a reason why millions keep coming over here and why nobody from here jumps the fence to get into Mexico. We must be doing something right.

We saved all of Europe, didn’t we? We’re there, alongside Israel, whenever disaster strikes anywhere in the world. I guess that doesn’t count.

For sure none of this counts along our college campuses where education comes in second to rallies against America and protests against the Jewish State. Jerry Seinfeld and even Chris Rock refuse to go there because the kids and their professors have become so humorless and so addicted to political correctness. Everything you say can and will be held against you.

So forget the campus and now I am reading something that is really depressing. Never mind no-go zones. It’s worse.

We have entire cities, including New York and LA, that are unsafe because they’ve been deluged by millions who’ve infiltrated the country, mainly from Muslim hellholes. If you wonder how civilizations decay and die from within, you are watching it happen right before your very eyes.

Say what you will about Donald Trump. The man has a point. My point is that our culture is at risk.

People who don’t know Frank Sinatra don’t belong in this country. But they sure know how to vote.

The plan, I’m convinced, is to swamp America with these people, 40 million of them, which means 40 million more Democrats. Soon, the GOP will have no shot. I fear that Hillary, the most corrupt politician ever to run for the highest office, may well be a shoo-in. 

We are still a great big warm-hearted wonderful country. Somebody ought to tell Mr. Obama about this.
